All praise is due to Allah, the Most Merciful, who guides us with the light of truth.

It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I, Abul Kalam, have taken on the role of President of the Al Makka Islamic Cultural Association as of September 2025. This is not just a position of leadership—it is a sacred trust.

Living in a country like Italy, where the culture and faith are different from ours, our mission is not only to preserve and practice our Islamic identity but also to spread the beauty of Islamic culture through our actions, character, and contributions to society.

My core vision is to present Islamic values in a way that resonates with the broader Italian society—highlighting Islam’s message of peace, compassion, and coexistence.

One of our key goals is to build a bridge of understanding and friendship between the Muslim community and the Italian people, based on mutual respect and shared human values. We believe this is essential for peaceful coexistence and societal harmony.

My hope and prayer is that during my tenure, I am able to establish initiatives and legacies that not only benefit our community today but also allow future generations to remember us with love, respect, and inspiration—as someone who truly served his people and his faith.

May Allah accept our efforts and keep us steadfast on His path—Ameen.
